Azad Kashmir trade delegation leaves for Srinagar

MUZAFFARABAD: The Muzaffarabad-Srinagar bus left here for Srinagar after a delay of two hours on Thursday.

Eighty-two people are traveling in the bus besides a delegation of Chambers of Commerce Industry.

Under an agreement between Pakistan and India, trade routes will be opened along the Line of Control (LoC) from October 20.

The first trade delegation will enter into Azad Kashmir along the point of Chakoti via Muzaffarabad-Srinagar bus service.

Meanwhile, the first 21-member delegation of Chambers of Commerce Industry Azad Kashmir, headed by Sardar Zulfiqar Abbasi that set off for Muzaffarabad will cross the line of control this evening.

The delegation will explore trade opportunities between Azad and Occupied Kashmir during its trip.
